REDUCING OUR CONFERENCE CARBON FOOTPRINT

The IAA18 International 2010 Conference Organizing Committee is committed to ensuring that real-value carbon offsets are built into the conference carbon budget. It is hoped that the delegates may have the opportunity to assist with the program.

What delegates can do to further reduce the carbon footprint

• Where possible, choose direct flights to the conference (at least to the USA)
• Walk or catch a bus to the conference venue as it is in walking distance of most selected hotels
• Share rides and taxis
• Keep an eye out for the recycling bins throughout the venue, and dispose of waste thoughtfully throughout the conference
• Where and when available, collect transfer information electronically
• Condense the number of materials you bring to the conference
• Please minimize your energy and water use wherever possible
