Use of Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) Tags in Crayfish Research
The aim of this workshop is to expose participants to PIT technology and its potential uses in crayfish research. The workshop will consist of a classroom session designed to cover the basics of the technology and how it is applied, a tagging demonstration of live crayfish, and a demonstration of the equipment in situ. The possibility exists for participants to gain hands-on experience with tagging and scanning, if time permits.

Registration for this workshop is free but will be limited to the first 30 people. This workshop will last for two to three hours.

For more information about this workshop please contact Jacob Westhoff at jtw7a1@mail.missouri.edu
