Eduardo "Choco" Roca Salazar

Eduardo “Choco” Roca Salazar (Santiago de Cuba 1950), a painter and a sculptor, is a master of collagraphs, a unique printmaking technique that he has enriched by repurposing/recyclilng waste material to give texture and a 3-dimensional feel to his work. His themes reflect his cultural roots and Afro-Cuban religions, as well as the environment of Old Havana where he has his studio. Choco has shown his work throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas at multiple venues.
