The 2' - hydroxyl group lives in the heartland!
Join us November 4-5, 2011 at the University of Missouri, Columbia for the first regional meeting of RNA scientists from Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas and more distant places.
All interested scientists are encouraged to attend. Keynote speech will be presented by John Abelson from the University of California – San Francisco. Session talks, preferably by students or postdocs, will be chosen from submitted abstracts. We hope to have a talk presented from every lab represented at the meeting.
The meeting will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 4, 2011, and end early afternoon on Saturday, November 5 at the Bond Life Sciences Center. A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Hampton Inn, a short walk (1.1 km) from the meeting location.
Due to generous sponsors (see below), there is NO REGISTRATION FEE for attending the Corn Belt RNA 2011 meeting. Included is dinner on Friday, at which you are encouraged to talk with other attendees and initiate collaborations or establish friendships across state borders.
The meeting t-shirt (sure to become a collector’s item!) will be available for $12, prepaid, see registration page.
All attendees must PREREGISTER for the conference by October 30, 2011.
