Interface General Information
Interface is designed for all math and science educators interested in quality professional development. The No Child Left Behind legislation provides specific guidelines requiring on-going, systemic professional development offerings. The event features a variety of sessions and vendor exhibits, to support you in teaching math and science at any grade level. The sessions, ranging in length of time, offer participants the opportunity to receive in-depth information on a variety of topics. Contact the person in charge of local funds for professional development in your district to determine if there is funding available to support your attendance for Interface.
Registration:
Attendance is limited for both Interface A and B and sessions have seating limits, so register early.

Graduate Credit:
Specific information relating to graduate credit can be obtained from university booths in the exhibit hall on the first day of each Interface session from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or in specific sessions that are offered.
Hotel Reservations
Block rooms are available at Tan-Tar-A Resort to attendees through January 25, 2012. The room rate for the 2012 Interface Professional Development Event attendees is $86 (1 - 4 people) if you tell the reservationist you are attending Interface. Note: Proper state sales tax exempt information must be provided to avoid paying state sales tax. Room reservations may be made by calling 1-800-Tan-Tar-A or online at http://www.tan-tar-a.com. A deposit equal to one night's lodging is required to confirm your reservation. If you reserve a room, but decide you will not be using it, you must cancel 72 hours prior to the date of arrival, or you will be responsible for the charges. Tan-Tar-A accepts all major credit cards. Reservations are made in the order received, however, specific rooms cannot be guaranteed. Rooms are assigned on a space available basis at the time of check-in. The hotel will handle special rooming needs.
