Conference Information

The Linguistics Program at the University of Missouri will host the 2009 Mid America Linguistics Conference over the weekend of October 9-11, 2009 on the Columbia campus. We invite abstracts for 20-minute talks in all areas of linguistics including (but not limited to) phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, sociolinguistics, semantics, language acquisition.
 
Abstracts are also invited for a special session on Bantu linguistics.

Venue

On Friday, October 9th all conference sessions will be held at the Hampton Inn & Suites. On Saturday, October 10th all conference sessions will be held on campus at the University of Missouri.

Reserve your hotel room by September 21, 2009. Mention the Mid-America Linguistics Conference when making your reservation. After September 21st, the room block will be released.
