Conference Lodging:
The 2013 MELL conference will be held at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri on November 20-22, 2013. Driving directions can be found online at http://www.saintlouisballpark.hilton.com/.

Conference participants are responsible for making their own lodging reservations. A block of rooms has been held at a rate of $92.00/night plus tax for the nights of 11/19, 11/20, and 11/21. For tax exempt reservations, the city tax rate is 8.250%.  Mention tax exemption status when making the reservation.  Guest check in is at 4:00pm. Full conference registration includes continental breakfast, lunch and breaks on Wednesday and Thursday and continental breakfast and break on Friday.

Reservations:

When making reservations, mention the Missouri Migrant Education and English Language Learning Annual Conference for our room block and special conference room rates. Please make reservations by October 21, 2013 for our room block.  After the October 21st cutoff date, reservations will be accepted on a space and/or rate availability basis only. 

Conference Parking:
Parking rates do apply. The hotel is offering a discounted daily self-parking rate of $8.00 per car for conference participants who park during the day. The lot is located right across the street from the hotel at 200 S. Broadway; the corner of Broadway and Walnut. Pick up a coupon at the conference registration desk to give to the valet as you exit the parking lot.
Overnight rate to park in the garage is $18 per night.

Substitution/Cancellation:
If you are unable to attend and wish to send a substitute, please contact Debbi Haskamp at (573) 882-4038. Your substitute will need to complete a new registration form indicating the substitution. Any substitutions received after November 15, 2013 will be processed on-site at the registration desk. A $50 fee will be applied to any cancellation received after October 18, 2013. You must provide a written request to the MU Conference Office for substitutions or cancellations.
