Veterinary Cancer Society

Veterinary Cancer Society Banquet PictureNovember 3-6, 2004 was the first time MUCO worked with the Veterinary Cancer Society on their annual conference. This four day event in Kansas City, MO at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center, drew 351 specialists in medical, surgical, and radiation oncology, internists, pathologists, pharmacologists, and general practitioners from all over the United States and the world. They attended scientific sessions dealing with various treatment methods and medicine results for cancer in animals. Researchers had a chance to publish their work during the poster session and there were also a variety of vendors exhibiting throughout the conference. For more information on the Veterinary Cancer Society, visit their website at: http://www.vetcancersociety.org.
