Welcome to the MU Extension Program Conference

Extension Colleagues:

University of Missouri Extension invites you to the Fall Program Conference,” Positioning for the Future”, October 29-31, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia. This is an opportunity for faculty and staff engaged in programming for MU Extension to come together to learn about new programming opportunities, celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Morrill Act and network with colleagues.

A great program is planned including A Historic Perspective presented by Dr. Tom Henderson, discussions on program positioning for the future, and a wide variety of professional development workshops. The MU Extension Strategic Plan and Program Integration opportunities will be presented during the Fall Program Conference. There is also an opportunity for professional associations to meet, a time for UMEA’s annual silent auction to benefit professional development, and dress in jeans, poodle skirts and bobby socks for the 50’s sockhop. MU President Tim Wolfe will be the capnote speaker.

Extension retirees are encouraged to attend the Monday program beginning with the lunch and a welcome from Dr. Ouart, the keynote speaker, Tom Henderson, reflecting upon 150th anniversary of the Morrill Act, the Epsilon Sigma Phi ice cream social and the retiree meeting.

We look forward to seeing you at the Fall Program Conference.

Sincerely,

Dr. Michael Ouart
