Campus Housing
A limited number of one and two person dormitory rooms will be available. The charge for dormitory rooms is:
- $50.50 per night for single rooms
- $28.00 per night for double rooms
You may check in after 12:00 p.m. and before 11:00 pm on June 13th; or after 7:30 am on June 14th. Check-out will be 9:00 am on June 18. Luggage storage will be available at the Life Science Center if needed. Campus housing will be in Respect Hall which is part of the Virginia Avenue Residence Hall Group. If you do not have a roommate, you need register for a single room. Roommates will not be assigned. Registration for the dormitory is available via your conference registration form.
These rooms are air-conditioned and within easy walking distance to the conference site. The rooms are furnished with limited bed linens and towels. Smoking and/or alcohol are not allowed in the rooms. Televisions are located only on the floor lounges.
Each evening the residence halls will lock at 11:00 pm. If your arrival into Columbia will be after the Residence Hall has closed for the night, you should arrange alternative housing in a hotel for that night. Each resident will be given an access code at check-in to enter after that time. No refunds after May 28, 2010. If you fail to return your key at check out or you lose your key, you will be charged a lost key fee of $20.00.

Hotels:
Columbia is host to many hotel and lodging options. Only a few are located within walking distance to campus and the meeting location. The Hampton Inn and Suites is one of those hotels. A room block is reserved under the name North American Symbiotic Nitrogen Fixation Conference. Please ask for this room block name to receive the negotiated conference rate listed. Special room rates are guaranteed until the room block cut-off dates listed.

Conference Site
All sessions of the symposium will be held in the Christopher S. Bond Life Sciences Center on the Columbia campus of the University of Missouri.
Travel
Columbia has connecting flights from Memphis via Northwest Airlines. MoX offers van shuttle service from St Louis International Airport and Kansas City International Airport at reasonable prices. Contact your local travel agency or MoX for current prices and schedules.
