The 21st North American Symbiotic Nitrogen Fixation Conference is hosted by the the University of Missouri-Columbia and in cooperation with the MU Conference Office
The 21st North American Symbiotic Nitrogen Fixation Conference returns to the University of Missouri campus. The University of Missouri, which hosted the18th meeting in 2002, is known for its diverse, yet inter-disciplinary research activities and is home to the state’s Medical School, Veterinary Medicine School, and Law School. The city of Columbia lies mid-way between St. Louis and Kansas City in a state in which soybean production is a $1 billion a year industry.
We will be hosting scientist from around the globe and hope that you will join us to honor the careers of two of our colleagues, Joe Polacco and Dale Blevins, who characterized the ureide biosynthetic pathway of soybean.
