Registration will be handled by the MU Conference Office. Checks should be made payable to the UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI. Register on-line or by mail using this form to Plant Biochemistry Symposium, MU Conference Office, 348 Hearnes Center, Columbia, MO 65211 USA. Please register by May 7, 2008. After this date, register on-line or by phone at 573/882-4349. On-site registration is discouraged. Enrollment will be limited to 250.
Hotels
All hotel room blocks are reserved under the name Plant Biochemistry Symposium. Please ask for this room block name to receive the special conference rate listed. Special room rates are guaranteed until the room block cut-off dates listed.

Campus Housing
A limited number of one and two person dormitory rooms will be available. The cost of these rooms is $50.00 per day for a single room and $27.75 per person/day for a double room. If you do not list a roommate on your registration, you are responsible for paying the single room rate.
These rooms are air-conditioned and within easy walking distance to the conference site. The rooms are furnished with limited bed linens and towels. Smoking and/or alcohol are not allowed in the rooms.
Each evening the residence halls will lock at 10:30 pm. If your arrival into Columbia will be after the Residence Hall has closed for the night, you should arrange alternative housing in a hotel for that night. Each resident will be given an access code at check-in to enter after that time. No refunds after April 30, 2008. If you fail to return your key at check out or you lose your key, you will be charged a lost key fee of $15.00.
Meals
Participants will be on their own for meals. There are also fast food venues available on campus. A number of restaurants are within walking distance of campus.
Parking
Limited on-campus parking will be made available at the Virginia Avenue Garage at a cost of $2.00/day. The hangtag for parking will be sent to you with your registration receipt. Anyone registering after April 30, 2008 will need to pick up the tag at the Symposium. Parking permits are not required on Saturday, May 31 thus are not available for purchased. To avoid receiving a parking ticket, you must park in the designated garage and avoid restricted parking spaces such as handicap.
Conference Site
All conference sessions are held at the Life Sciences Center, University of Missouri Columbia.
Travel
Columbia has connecting flights from Kansas City via US Airways Express, but has no air connections from St. Louis. MoX offers van shuttle service from St Louis International Airport and Kansas City International Airport at reasonable prices. Contact your local travel agency or MoX for current prices and schedules.
